Pastor Chris Tidwell trusted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior one Sunday night, February 11, 1979. J. Harold Smith was preaching "God's Three Deadlines" that evening. One week later, at his baptism, he sensed God calling him into the ministry.

Pastor Chris was discipled in his early Christian walk at Liberty Baptist College, where he began to study for Youth ministries. He graduated in 1983. Before attending seminary at Gordon-Conwell in 1989, Pastor Chris served in a variety of youth ministries, from the inner city youth ministries to local church youth ministries as a lay youth worker while working with physically and sexually abused youth.

A year after completing seminary, pastor Chris accepted the Lord's call to serve here in Deerfield, NH. He has served in Deerfield since October, 1997. He and his wife Cindy are excited about what God is doing here. Chris and Cindy are childless, but have a great love for people of all ages.
